Polyester Pet Strap

PET strapping tape, commonly known as plastic-steel strapping, is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging material made from PET through extrusion and unidirectional stretching. It is widely used internationally as a new environmentally friendly packaging material to replace steel strapping, steel wire, and heavy-duty PP strapping tape.

Product Features

● High Strength and Flexibility: Its tensile strength approaches that of steel strapping of the same specification and is twice that of PP strapping. Its low elongation, only one-sixth that of PP strapping, allows it to maintain tension for extended periods, ensuring secure packaging. Furthermore, PET strapping offers a 5% cushioning elongation when subjected to external impact, effectively protecting the packaging.

● Heat Resistance and Stability: It offers excellent high-temperature resistance. Its excellent weather resistance maintains dimensionally stable across varying temperatures and is unaffected by moisture, preventing the loss of tensile strength associated with moisture and rust on steel strapping.

● Safety and Environmental Protection: Its lack of sharp edges prevents scratches on packaged goods or operators, ensuring a safe and worry-free packaging process. Made of food-grade packaging materials, it is moisture-resistant, rust-resistant, waterproof, and corrosion-resistant, meeting environmental requirements and is recyclable, ensuring a pollution-free recycling process.

● Economical and Efficient: With a density only one-sixth that of steel strapping, its unit price is over 40% lower. One ton of PET strapping is equivalent to six tons of steel strapping of the same specification, significantly reducing packaging costs. It is light in weight and easy to carry. Compared with steel straps, it does not require cutting the straps in advance or wearing gloves during operation, and its packaging efficiency is high.
